Reviews for Columbia Sportswear Men's Newton Ridge 2 Hiking Boot (Apparel) I bought these as a end result of they seemed like they might have excellent grip on my hikes and provide waterproof safety on one of the crucial moist hikes. The boots did provide protection on the first hike however the sole also began to indicate indicators of separation after only a couple hikes. I glued them to them and applied extra water-proofing. This obtained them to any other 4 hikes. I think I should have appeared for something slightly sturdier. The worth was once right but the high quality used to be just not there. Waterproofing works as described. Comfort level used to be applicable now not nice. Workmanship was once less than par.
