Reviews for Dr. Martens 1460 Boot (Misc.) I have worn DMs for 12 monthss however no longer. I offered a few pairs three years ago and later discovered that they are now made in more than a few places in the East and because of this they are without question sub standard. Further to this, certainly it is not moral for an English standard like DMs to be taken away from the people who made it nice, but then which is business...isn't it? I now wear Solovair 8 eyelet boots. These are made in Northampton, England by way of one of the most firms that made the unique Air Cushioned Soles for DMs, they also have the absolutely welted soles which DMs don't.
